Kayak in the Mangroves

Kayaking in the river is definitely the best way to know the heart of the island, its intricate mangroves forest and the rivers that cross the island from the sea to the lagoon.

The Kayak is way to get into some of this rivers and discover the the many species of birds that inhabit this environment. Silently you will able to close to pink flamingos (in season), pink spoonbills, great white egrets, and many kind of herons amongst others species.

In this exhuberant wild habitat it is also very common to spot some crocodiles sunbathing along the shores.

The river entrance in reached by motorboat towing the kayaks, after the tour you will be picked up at the other river exit.

Starts at: morning of afternoon (depends of tide).

Duration of the tour: 2 1/2 a 3 Horas Aprox,

What to bring: Water, snack, hat, sunscreen, sunglases, camera, flip flops or sandals and clothes can get wet.
